The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is a public school serving children in grades K-12 from Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham and Wakefield. Mystic Valley does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, learning ability, or any other means prohibited by law.

At Mystic Valley, we believe in providing students with a solid foundation in all Core Knowledge subjects as well as Foreign Language, Art, Music and Physical Education. Our standards for student behavior and character development are exemplary. Transportation is available for eligible students.

To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old prior to September 1. We do not accept applications after grade five. Enrollment Policy.

Mystic Valley Lottery Draws a Record Crowd

The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School held its annual Admissions Lottery on November 14th. Well over 500 people were in attendance anxiously waiting to see if their child’s number would be called as one of the members of next year’s Kindergarten class.
The school received a record amount of applications to attend Mystic Valley. Over 900 applications were received for grades K-5.  For just the 2013/2014 Kindergarten class, Mystic Valley received over 600 applications, also a record amount, including nearly 300 from Malden alone. With the lottery completed and wait lists updated, Mystic Valley has over 2,600 students on the waiting list to enter grades K through 5 for the 2013/2014 school year. There are currently 1,492 students enrolled at the school in grades K-12.
