K-8 School
Mystic Valley's K-8 School is located at 770 Salem Street in Malden, just outside of Maplewood Square. The school day begins at 8:00 and ends at 3:30. Mystic Valley has a 200 day school year. Students are taught using the Direction Instruction and Saxon Math Essentials curriculum following the standards put forth by the Core Knowledge Foundation. Mystic Valley is the only school in Massachusetts that has received designation as a Core Knowledge Visitation School. Students at Mystic Valley begin each day with a class in character education.
